This is a 55W Ballast with internal water proof (fill with expoxy) . It is warm to touch after long run.
The high low beam is made possible by a tilting mechanism through a solenoid at the base. It works perfectly such that the HID light is shield and focus by the stock reflector. Also the low beam is set to follow local rules , without glare to other driver. This is a 30 mins job and is totally reversible. Certainly, without a lens projection housing, the result will be less than perfect.
