While happy with the handy size, I am mot satisfied with the gap between the disc and the heavy metal clamp. I put in a 1.3mm spacer at the far end of the clamp. This reduce the gap to leas than 0.5mm such that any crowbar or angle grinder cannot make use of the gap.

Abus 8000 alarm disc lock
This is the 3d sensor ~ 345b 3 axis movement detection. The sensitivity is far better than xena in vertical and sideway movement.
Abus 8000 disc lock module
The abus is a much sensitive alarm as it use 3d accelerometer instead of cheaper rolling ball switch as in xena. XENA XX has good sensitivity to rotational movement , but poor sideway and vertical movement.
Secure engine oil cap
Tie a cable with 2 holes drilles on the cap. To prevent foul play and accidental loosening of the cap.

Compare xena xx and abus 8000
See the size different. Xena xx6 is push lock and allows single hand application. Abus is beefy and almost undestructable.
The sensor used in xena xx is a rolling ball sensor. They called it 360 sensor and is indeed a cheaper sensor, instead of an accelerometer as what i initially thought. U can shake it and hear the metal balls inside.
The main differrence is that xena used ir sensor for arming the alarm. Abus use mechanical switch for arming . It seems the ir sensor will consume more power and hence xena runs on cr2 lithium battery. On the other hand, abus uses aaa battery only.
Xena xx alaem module
The separate module is a good design in case of failure. However, it is not easy to buy a replacement module here. The rolling ball sensor is the cube with 4 screws at the corners. A pair of ir sensor continuosly sending signals for arming if the brake disc blocks the ir. Disarming is initiated by ir being reflected from a mirror inside , when unblocked by brake disc .
